Deborah Ann Mikiten, is a highly skilled and compassionate Geriatric Care Manager (GCM) with a deep
commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors and their families. With 35 years of experience in the
field, Deborah has gained extensive knowledge in providing comprehensive care solutions for older
adults. She has been a CSA since 2008 and is a member of ALCA, Aging Life Care Association.

Deborah, who prefers to be called Debbie, started her journey in the financial field. She worked with
seniors developing financial and insurance plans. After opening her own agency, it was during this time
that her daughter became disabled. Not only was she caring for her daughter she was taking care of her
grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and grandfather who had congestive heart failure.
Much of her time was spent fighting for the proper care of her loved ones. She began to share her
experience with her clients who started coming to her for assistance in these matters as well. Debbie’s
education is in social work, and she knew this was where she needed to be, helping to make a
difference. Following her heart with a passion like no other, she began working with families making
sure they were afforded the proper care and assistance. Advocating for the families and acting as a
liaison. Throughout her career, she has successfully helped numerous families navigate the complexities
of aging and manage the unique challenges that come with it. As a GCM, Debbie takes a holistic
approach to care management, considering the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the senior
client.

She is dedicated to creating personalized care plans that prioritize the individual needs and preferences
of each client. She excels in conducting thorough assessments, identifying appropriate resources, and
coordinating a wide range of services. From coordinating medical appointments and medication
management to assisting with financial matters and advocating for the client’s rights, Debbie ensures
that all aspects of care are meticulously addressed.

both seniors and their families. She understands the challenges and emotions that often arise during
this stage of life, and serves as a trusted advocate and ally, offering clarity, empathy, and compassion.
